hey as humans brought up in a materialistic world ...... we've adjusted to the fact that more is better.... but at the same time tried to think that its not .... so in all when i look at it its not hard wiring that makes one like this but society and attitudes and envious behavior that makes us like this.... but at the same time this greed or urge for more has much to do with humans competitive behavior!

Sounds like we are hardwired to _hope_. If it were greed, we would have the heavy stimulation from _getting_ as well...
