A person who harbors paranoid delusions and suffers from depression is sick; not scammed or terrorized. If it wasn't climate change, this young man would have fixated on something else.

Thanks for informing us that the entire global warming industry is on the brink of mental illness. It is my contention that if alarmists are right, then this young man's actions are entirely warranted. The imminent collapse of civilization should be quite a motivating and troubling thing.
The fact is that the alarmists want everyone to be just like this man. So, terrorizing IS an issue and it succeeded here in being one persons point of fixation.

Conversely, We see the opposite reactions in those who want alternative energy so much that they wish death, starvation, and hardship on the world in order to realize it.

Delusion is the "normal" state.
