This rather silly study reminds me of the old saw about there being lies damn lies and statistics.

Somebody must have received a large grant for this study

Ya see I can prove statistically that a person with one foot in a pails of flaming gasoline and the other one in a pail of ice water is on average quite comfortable

i'd like to believe it is true

This is ridiculous. Sounds like grant money to me, too.
