We need to address the issues with China, India and many other countries who also do not care one jot about the planet, get them in line!!! We care very much about the planet, and wild life. I think also we need to understand our issues as well, in a well balanced debate; you need also need to point the finger to the east as well? We can take the lead, but the east doesn’t and they just get more market share.

India is already producing clean energy cars as is China investigating the issue too. It is western countries who also need to take steps instead of looking over their shoulders at what others are doing instead of taking steps!!!

Brightlight, it obvious that you have never been to those countries, when you do you will see first hand, the comment is way off the mark, these countries ARE not interested in the planet, I've have seen it first hand!! we also produce various electric cars and have done for the last 30 years, and full comment in solar and wind generation, we were the first commercial users of wind farms and that was over 20years ago, if you go east from Oakland you will see them still working, been saving the planet for over 20 years!

What I say is that we wealthy countries have kept India and China down and stopped them for evolving from quite some time. That you have wind and solar energy is great news, pity there are not more aware of the benefits of such clean energies instead of using contaminating energies. I am well aware that India and China contaminate, as do western countries too, but they are becoming aware in India and China of the damage caused and are starting to take steps, while I am not so sure about the western countries like the US and other similar environmental attitudes in countries like the UK, where a car is "essential" while in Spain public transport is excellent and prices reasonable to motivate people to leave their cars at home.

As I have no knowledge of Spain, I can't comment, but I guess you have cars there in Spain? If so there is a need for cars also!!! Japan has an excellent public transport system and still they have cars, essential as well, as out in the country there is no real transport, people still have to get to work and to get out in the world and see life. I assume you just say local in which case you would not understand at all about the need to transport your self in the best possible covenant time. It is about time you did something about your cruel sport in Spain, now that would be useful thing to do. You have a nice day

Yes we do have cars in Spain but if you look at the US gas consumption in comparison to Spain, or the contamination produced, then you will see there is a big difference in attitudes to transport. Saying that cars have been taken off the road due to public transport is ridiculous but PROMOTING clean energy cars is a positive move in the right direction.

I personally am not responsible for bull fighting, nor dog fighting and many other bloody sports which exist on this planet. That is much like the Spanish insist that because I am a Brit, I should take steps to return Gibraltar to them!!! GROW UP PLEEEASE!!!

For your information.....

Even the US president liked our railroad service and ...

The Sun is Out; there is little that Americans can do about China/etc. not doing those things, but there is a lot Americans can do about American companies doing it. You should focus on what you can do at home before you start pointing fingers at other countries.

Remember what they say; whenever you point your finger and someone, there are 3 fingers pointing back at you (try it, and you'll see what I mean).

The Infowarrior
The only lie is that Co2 causes Global Warming once you realise that truth the rest of their charade collapses around it.

You have to be quite gullible to believe it when all trustworthy independent evidence, including from the founder of the weather channel and many thousands of non gov sponswhored scientists

CO2 is a contributing factor to Global Warming. Don't lie, Infowarrior. It's just not the only contributing factor to Global Warming. All trustworthy, independent evidence shows that Global Warming is real, and that human activity has accelerated it; it's only lone cranks that inevitable are shown to be on the payroll of Big Industry who are trying to deny the human impact on Global Warming.

As for the existence of Global Warming itself, that is a scientific fact. Only morons and idiots are denying that it's actually happening.
