Mohir, that's exactly the same thing I do. Only I don't wait too long.
Whenever I do try and quit It seems I just become obsessed with cigarettes, and alas, I tend to smoke more. I'm so weak mentally when it comes to smoking.

I succeeded 6 years ago. I had not planned it. I was in hospital for a week and didn't fancy shuffling out for my fag.

Having do without for a week, I decided to continue. The real secret may have been not telling other that I was off the fags. I gradually told my family and much later others. It was 2 before I lost the desire.

I suggest a lifestyle change - like going on holiday - with any attempt to give up.
