I'd love to try it too, Michellezm. I had the same question about Beluga caviar once. I wondered if it could possibly be as good as they said. By luck and by chance I had the opportunity once to try it. Oh... my... goodness. It was a good as they said and better. I hope the same goes for truffles.

Dorine. You're so right. Ghastly tasteless gummy chewy things. The best part about them is the garlic sauce they come in. I only managed to eat this once, and that only after I'd had a couple of double gin and tonics to bolster my courage. Never again!
