If she did leave that relationship what's to say her next relationship would be any different. Basically all men are the same, they will cheat given the chance. We were talking about this last night, in reference to Hillary Clinton. I was troubled by the number of people that said she was ridiculous for staying in her marriage. Who can say what works or is right in another's marriage? Should we really berate someone for trying to make the marriage work? Sometimes I think society really views marriage as disposable. Why is it seen as a weakness or a fault to want to work at the marriage? When did forgiveness become such a dirty word? Excellent comment BNM! And Tany, not all men are the same. I've been married for a long time and my husband has never cheated on me. But if he did, I wouldn't want to necessarily end the marriage. It's so easy to say kick him to the curb or whatever, but a marriage is very personal and I think the bottom line is that it's no ones else's business. You're right, Deb. Maybe she loves the guy and doesn't want it to be over. You're both right. I guess I'm still very bitter about marriage. I didn't have a choice whether I wanted to stay in it or not.
