Thanks for that tip. seems to work as advertised. I wonder, though, if it will increase the memory usage of FF. That's what I have most problems with. Anon, check your "about:config" for the line: config.trim_on_minimize If it's not in there, do this; Right Click in the page and New -> Boolean. Enter config.trim_on_minimize Select True Restart Firefox. Oh, ok. Don't know what that means, but I'm a-trying it! Oh sorry In the address bar in FF type "about:config" and hit enter. Scroll down and see if you have an entry called "config.trim_on_minimize" If not, follow the rest of the above. I tired this, Wolf, and I actually think that it made FF slower. It's really dragging since I made this change. Bizarre! I tried Flock, its much faster, and I like the RSS reader there which is integrated solution. I use both in parallel. |
