The Government Accountability Office - The Bush Administration's worst enemy. McCain? Eight more years of Bush policies. If I'm not mistaken, Congress passed legislation a few years back requiring all government agencies, including the DOD, to abide by standard accounting practices. The Pentagon appears to be ignoring it. No one really knows how much money they spend. Yea, and can't account for over a trillion! |
