The number of scientific terms that have Latin roots Especially the name of species has shown Latin in a new light.(still as boring, but the lighthas changed), some words have similarities between languages, because they have a Latin root. Latin isn't dead, it's just been rooted, and squared, then dismembered. Parts of it can come in really handy. People who know too much about Latin are usually Lawyers who will charge for a translation, whether you need it or not. |
