muckdog says: Here's a national strategy: Put down the fork and go for a brisk walk. What's so hard about that, folks? Why do the folks look to the government for a solution to their self-induced problems? It's no secret why folks are overweight. You're worried about health care in this country? The diseases caused by being overweight are costing America a fortune. Maybe health care premiums should be based on your body mass. Maybe it'd give folks some incentive to change their lifestyles! It ain't that easy dude. There are perscription drup for bi-polar disorder, cholesterol problems and others that are a hughe factor in contributing to weight gain. I've been wondering lately why just about everyone I meet has hypoglycemia. This wasn't the case just 10 yrs. ago. Then I'm led to wonder just what are the chemicals contained in the chem-trails that we're being inundated with. There are many in higher places within the U.S. gov that don't know all that is going on. But the wise shall understand. Any national strategy will have to take into account eating habits and food quality... Burger joints have spread all over the world... hamburgers and chips are affordable for the proletariat family.... Low income families often can't afford to change their eating habits and are so tired by the time they get home from work, I doubt they'll take you up on the suggested brisk walk, Muckdog.... Once you break down the statistics, you'll probably find that there are alot more clinically obese people among the lower income groups than you would among the wealthier people... Actually, caffeine consumption can create and mimic the symptoms of hypoglycemia. Maybe Starbucks is making folks hungry. Still, very few actually have a physical or glandular issue. This is all about overeating. Taking in too many calories. Try more veggies. |
