This anti-gay sentiment seems to be very strong in Africa. With all the problems this poor continent has they really must focus on issues that matter instead of bigoted and backwards notions on sexuality.

True. Not only that but they've turned this completely around and routinely trumpet the unfounded notion that they are the ones persecuted. Hopefully, shedding the light of reason on these patent absurdities will ameliorate somewhat the negative effects of their superstition.
