Interesting. But I believe it's not easy to fairly measure the weight of maternal and paternal involvements in a male-oriented patriarch sociological structure. Roles, rules and expectations are usually formed and changed depending on the dominant ideology and lifestyle customs are determined by social-political effects. We need to have the possibility to make objective observations on a matriarch or matrifocal society (which hasn't survived) before deciding on this. |
