Just like few MSM outlets where interested in probing the WH allegations that Iraq had WMDs, the ties between the republicans and Saddam Hussein or that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11 (which it did not). Oh the eveil media doesn't dance lock step to our propaganda efforts, thank god for Faux News.

I seem to recall those same allegations being made by democrat leaders at the same time. So it would be right up their alley to tow the democrat line. The same media that always reports a rosier economic picture during democrat administrations. The same media that was predicting doom and gloom when they thought we lost jobs in August, but mostly ignores it when those numbers are revised and it turns out we gained some 200,000 jobs in the past two months.

Ya, that media.

No proof of that mind you....

Actually, I have absolute proof of that. Nearly half of Americans believe that the media leans to the left while less that one fifth believe it leans to the right. That puts the media to the left of far more Americans that it is to the right. In other words, the media is left of center.

(This is from a Gallup poll which I just clipped)

People might believe that, but that in itself does not make the media lean anywhere. And the other half does not believe it leans left (which includes group that believes that the media leans right).

When it comes to left and right in politics, there is no absolute. So when nearly three times as many people believe the media is to the left of them than believe it is to the right, that puts the media to the left of center in America right now (as they have been for decades) and no amount of spin can change that simple fact.

I NEVER heard this put out in any form . Anybody who listens even MILDLY critically to -words- would not even arrive at that conclusion. There is needed an adaptibility of mind and a sense of nuance to get the whole thing. The anti-WOT crowd thinks in cut-n-dry, black or white, each issue seperate from the other, and so on. I'd try again here for you but, why would you get it now?

September's sharp decline in casualties.
is not propaganda. Just a truth they are hesitant to report on until forced. This is in order to help Dems, as any success in Iraq is their failure.
-----------------ANY INCREASE in casualties is reported INSTANTLY.
Just because one doesn't want something to get out, does not make it propaganda.

Well Davboz thats because you where not listening to the Vice President of the United Sates of America when he repeated those very assertions on Meet the Press.

As for whether half of America belives that the Media leans one way or the other, first, is half of America left or right of this spectrum, did they say they saw the media to the left of their positions and with the other half not saying so, I call that an even split, not a definite answer.

And in this links above you see the failure of the so called lef-leaning press to ask the hard questions and to inform the ...
