You cannot get any more conservative than that. Constitutionalism, liberty, and individual sovereignty is, after all, what conservatives seek to conserve. Obama is a tyrant akin to Woodrow Wilson, which is about as tyrannical as you can get in America, at least up to this point. I would not suggest Obama would not like to be more tyrranical than that. I can only judge him by who he surrounds himself with, and that's pretty darn tyrannical. nooooo...........i didn't mean any comment on the political aspect of this- merely saying- it seems a bit strange to put these two words together- I - as usual- didn't make myself clear.........sorry.......... Trust us. when we say 'conservative radical' we aren't comparing today's GOP to our founding fathers. You people just aren't that good. i would have to say that the rants and raves have nothing much what-so-ever to do with thoughts- dreams and goals of our founding fathers- conservatives have been in office for quite a majority of time and have pushed this country- to the brink- with their conservative- ideas- and values- the democratic fairy did not just whisk the united states in the shitter- but laws of trickle downs- tax cuts to rich- alienation of neighbor and families- wars on drugs that actually do more to promote the availability of drugs- yet condemn our mothers-fathers-brothers-sisters-and or our children to lives incarcerated and estranged from their families and friends- reliance on oil- promotion of war- farming... i didn't mean to say- republican there- but rather- i meant to say- it is the conservative- ideal that has brought much upon the united states - what we are dealing with now......... republican.....democrat..........the parties just sort of blend into a nightmare of public interest groups and doing the deeds for the particular lobbyists that pay them the most- or whatever- and i don't feel either party is much guided in things of helping or representing their constituents- just building their own personal assets- to their personal slices of heaven- constituents be damned- More Right-Wing Radical Propaganda from Willhelm the Chickenhearted, eh? I was wondering where he would insert his intellectually-dishonest tripe next. I hate to tell you, Willhelm, but the US Founding Fathers were about as conservative Charlie Sheen. As the article says; Intellectual Conservatism is dead. The GOP consists entirely of nutbag extremists, and apologists for said nutbags. The Conservative Movement, as it is in the US, is dangerous, not only for America, but for the world itself, and it's time that intellectual conservatives divested themselves of the Republican brand and start anew. yes that is exactly what the article says- it is like the teacher has had to excuse themself from the class for a few minutes and comes back to johnny being dangled out the window- and the whole room turned on its ear- or - beyond out of control- just mad- a bunch- all sorts of people yelling - mainly about things they do not even understand- just following suit with what their good buddy so in so is ticked off at the government about- gee - they woke up a few years too late- around 8 years ago would have been a good time- to end this lame azz nap they have all been on- but now they are awake - they are cranky- cuz somebody took their blankie...not realizing that they devoured it in their s... love of country and patriotism should have everything to do with spreading peace- not fear...........encouraging knowledge and the arts........rewarding- not firvolous- or greedy behavior- but seeing the wealth in the simple things of life- love of family respect of self and treating others how we ourselves would choose to be treated- we seem to have no time for that- we are too worried about who is sleeping with who- about maybe you have more than me- about my god can kick your gods ass- immediately fearing what we don't quite understand- instead of attempting to learn - we toss rants and ridicule like so many arrows- and fear that someone is soon going to come and take all of our things aw... |
