masbury says: Obama 4 points ahead of Clinton; Edwards 4 points below. Just ask Howard Dean how secure a lead is in the Democratic Primary field. Still daydreaming of what a Paul Wellstone Presidential run might have looked and felt like. "I'm for the little fellers, not the Rockefellers" I'm sure it's not at all secure - but just a week ago, many were saying it wasn't even possible. I do think Edwards may evaporate after Iowa and New Hampshire, but Obama's appeal seems to be more broadly-based and broadly financed. I wasn't very clear in the previous comment. The Howard Dean comparison was intended for Hillary not Obama. She seemed to be fairly smug awhile back. Ah, I get it - how true! I was just home for the holidays. And home is...yes, Iowa. I would be so proud of my home state if they voted in Obama (my choice). I saw a lot of Clinton signs, and many Obama as well. What I did not see was many Republican signs. Interesting. |
