I should have my PhD by now What kind of books do you like to read? I'm reading Little Men on a website. I have to always be reading something, even if it's just the newspaper. I'm like you, I've got to have something to read. I carry books in my car for when I have to wait somewhere (not at traffic lights :~) I must confess that I read fewer books since I have the internet and I especially enjoy audio books that I can plug myself into and do yard or housework. Usually I enjoy non-fiction but right now I'm reading James N. Patterson's "Exile". Analysts attribute the listlessness to competition from the Internet and other media, the unsteady economy...what's the local library provision like in the US? I generally read about 3 a month. I usually speed up when I am consumed by a subject. I read very little fiction, but just enough to remind me why I don't. |
