I have had the great fortune to meet General Petraeus, and he is indeed a "man of the year". He has done an incredible job in Iraq.

I heard a story of him confronting a corporal who wasn't working too hard at loading supplies. The corporal complained about how hard the work was. Petraeus challenged him to a pushups duel on the spot, saying whenever the soldier dropped, Petraeus would keep on, and do another 10. And he did.
Tough guy, and must be an inspiring leader.

Good story, masbury. At least Petraeus seems to be the kind of man that asks nothing from others he couldn't or wouldn't be willing to do himself.
