As Special Assistant to the U.S. chief of counsel, Supreme Court justice Robert H. Jackson William J. Donovan was well qualified he served as special assistant to chief prosecutor Telford Taylor at the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal, he was a lawyer, soldier in ww1 & in ww2 the Head of Operations of the OSS which an an organization of Allied men & women who operated behind enemy lines to help resistance underground efforts in Europe.
