(AP) - Eli Manning lobbed a 13-yard touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress with 35 seconds left to give the New York Giants a 17-14 lead over the unbeaten New England Patriots in the Super Bowl on Sunday night. Tom Brady threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Randy Moss with less than 3 minutes to play to give the Patriots a 14-10 lead. The heavily favored Pats clung to a 7-3 lead after three quarters. Laurence Maroney's 1- yard TD run early in the second gave New England a 7-3 lead as the Patriots made their bid for a 19-0 record and a place in NFL history. Manning fired a 5-yard touchdown pass to David Tyree to give the Giants a 10-7 lead. In a game that was threatening to become the lowest-scoring Super Bowl ever, the Giants kept the potent Patriots in check with a clock- chewing ground game and relentless pressure on quarterback Tom Brady, who was sacked four times and hit often.
