GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Eli Manning lobbed a 13-yard touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress with 35 seconds left to give the New York Giants a 17-14 lead over the unbeaten New England Patriots in the Super Bowl on Sunday night.

Tom Brady threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Randy Moss with less than 3 minutes to play to give the Patriots a 14-10 lead. The heavily favored Pats clung to a 7-3 lead after three quarters. Laurence Maroney's 1- yard TD run early in the second gave New England a 7-3 lead as the Patriots made their bid for a 19-0 record and a place in NFL history.

Manning fired a 5-yard touchdown pass to David Tyree to give the Giants a 10-7 lead.

In a game that was threatening to become the lowest-scoring Super Bowl ever, the Giants kept the potent Patriots in check with a clock- chewing ground game and relentless pressure on quarterback Tom Brady, who was sacked four times and hit often.

YES! YES! YES! Just about the greatest sporting event of my life...love the G-MEN!!
