I was thinking that they must have a fleet of ambulances on site during this event. I wonder if the easiest obstacle is running through fire ? Seems like the obstacle with the most incentive to finish!

Did a piece on fire running on an Aussie science show. Seems the trick is not to disturb the charcoal on the surface, as it insulates the feet from the fire.
