"The Bush administration was forced to admit in the days after the 2004 alert that it was based on intelligence three or four years old. Officials then claimed there was a previously unmentioned “separate stream of intelligence” that justified the warning — but offered little tangible information to support their new story..

ThinkProgress recalls, the AP reported that “even ’some senior Republicans’ privately questioned Ridge’s timing of a terror alert that came just three days after the Democratic National Convention.”

Ridge’s book, “The Test of Our Times: America Under Siege…and How We Can Be Safe Again,” comes out September 1."

I do not seriously doubt Ridge's assertion, however I am not naive enough to think most any president would not pull the same stunt during a re-election. Can I see Obama pulling a similar stunt, absolutely only much worse. Why the left can not relate to anything bad that is not the fault of GWB shows just how much in denial they are. Nothing short of a public lynching could satisfy their rabid desire for a pound of his flesh.

Obama is in terrible shape, the public does not trust his policies nor his excuses any longer, so instead of pulling a rabbit from a hat - he and his legion of doom followers resurrect GWB once again to calm the masses, quell any arguments or simply to throw his dog...

No kidding.

BOTH sides are politically corrupt and morally challenged.

And that is putting it nicely.
