Sohil I could not leave this one without a question. I have noticed that this clip is from your own Google Notebook. Any reason why did you decide to use Notebook for this type of posting? Would blogger do the same? I have also created an account with Google Notebook but the easy of use is behind clipmarks. The only difference is that one can mix clipped content with new comments without leaving traces on what is original and what is added content. (egoldstein, some ideas on new features for clipmarks, how about letting people add comments in the middle of the original clipmark? I think this is a nice feature and if the comment is inserted as a new block that has some type of special backgro...

adosuzano, i think it's a cool concept, but i'm not really sure i'm comfortable with it for the reason you mentioned.

also, i think google notebook is more of a personal archiving tool whereas i hope clipmarks is seen as more of a social clipping platform where people can quickly share and discuss interesting bits of information that are clipped from the web.

adosuzano, I needed some place to type what I was going to say and the options really were Writely and Google Notebook. I liked Google Notebook for some reason and typed it here. My loyalty lies with Clipmarks. My first comment was around the time Notebook came out and I remember saying I'll go with whichever has the most mature community and after staying around for a while, I decided to stay with Clipmarks. That happens to be the only thing I actually did with Google Notebook.

egoldstein, I still believe that if somehow it is made clear what is clipped and what is inserted it would be a nice feature to have. BTW, thank you for your mail and you can ignone my email reply!
