Tumpey's team found mutations that let the new H1N1 virus live in the small intestine -- something seasonal influenza cannot do. This may explain why so many swine flu patients have stomach upsets such as nausea and diarrhea, the researchers said.

A few weeks ago I was really sick. I don't know if it was the flu or not but I have never been in that much pain since I can't remember when.
