Almost everything in the Iranian arsenal is from the U.S (up to 1979) and U.S. through Israel (1980s Iran-Contra deals). After that it is a mix of Western and Russian hardware (or Chinese and NK copies). Besides, there where so many weapons in Iraq (pay largely by the old Soviet Union and the U.S.) and the area is so saturated with weapons (including the thousands sold to nearby allied states, the black market and "friendly" Iraqi units) that Iranian weapons supplies, if they exist would be a fractional addition to the lot.
