This is really very sad. Doesn't the government have an obligation to protect public health? To what extent is that obligation? Such a slippery slope. If this man won't mitigate the risk himself, who then is responsible to do so?

If we don't take personal responsibility, the government will take it and start mandating things. Is that our best recourse?

I fear that a widespread health scare will be the impetus for total government control.
