When does a flip flop become listening to the voice of the people?

Call it a "flip-flop" if you want. He made a *promise* to the voters that he would not support an increase in pay. He naively believed that the Legislature would do the right thing and said he would not interfere. Well, ta-da! Welcome to politicians and the entitled. He had to choose. Maintain his commitment to the electorate or bow to the greedy legislatures. He chose wisely.

This is the kind of guy we need in Washington..
