It's a simple-to-use online tool to manage various kinds of lists with some interesting twists on the concept.

For example, you can easily have a Shopping list (or Record as I call it). You can segregate your list by Categories (which is nothing but another list), Locations (another list) and some other info you can add to each entry in the list. You can have a record of items for insurance purposes, including pricing, description, photo etc. Then any of these lists can be viewed via various Reports.

There are some other uses, using the same simple interface. For example - you can have a collection of URLs, or e-mail accounts or notes, or To-Do list or Business Cards - all viewable/pr...

This is incredibly useful, RecordSage!

My father had a record collection that he kept indexed and each index card had tidbits of info about the record, the artist, style of music, when and where he bought it, etc. The collection (in the Thousands) was lost in a fire. Index cards burn, records melt and memory fails. It wouldn't have saved his collection but he could have got much more for the insurance claim. He had old 78rpm one-sided slate disks.
Too bad something like this wasn't around in the 70's.

I'm going to D/L this and fiddle with it-Thanx!

Damn Dial-up

@skwirlinator

Thanks for your comments, but there's nothing to download - it's 100% web-based app. So the good news is there's nothing to download, the bad news (for those on dial-up) - you need to be online to use it. I hope you use it and hope you never have to use the insurance end of it , but if you do - it'll be there.

Well, I have it and I also joined the Board and made entries.
I did a few tests and This looks VERY PROMISING.
There is NO download.
I'm going to use the free trial-Thanx again RecordSage! and plug it whenever possible but I doubt I will get any credit for it since it will be a general public plug like I did with ClipMarks and others.

Great! Thanks!

Don't forget - the numbers you have been assigned and the passwords you chose are the ONLY way to access the data. That's what we call anonymous access.

Even though it's common sense - another item I'd like to emphasize is to NOT use any personal information on Record Sage. In other words, if you set up a Record called 'Personal' as an example (poor example but certainly doable) and create an Item 'My Address' with all relevant details in the Description field - obviously you'd negate the whole anonymous part of the system. Same with insurance info - don't call a Record "Safeco Home Policy #221323", call it something like 'Home'. You know which company you're insured wi...
