I used to be a nightmare with food when I was young. I had 4 or 5 things I would eat and I wouldn't even try anything else. Adam, I hope you've hugged your mother. I try not to cater to my toddler's whims, but when does a whim really become a preference? I certainly don't enjoy certain foods as an adult. If my daughter doesn't like peppers in her food, is it just stubborness or a preference? I do make an effort to expose her to foods I don't enjoy, so as not to make the choice for her. (like avocados, yuck!) |
