From the article:
"If the Communist-coordinated terrorists had been squashed or had never existed, Dr. Waller concludes, in all likelihood the world would not be plagued by the present-day terrorism of Hezbollah, Hamas, al-Qaeda, and the other violent organizations that commit mass murder in the name of God."

While you are building a memorial to the victims of communism, build one for those wiped out by the catholics and other religions. The numbers killed by the inquisition and other purges makes the communist efforts look not (nah, can't say that. Nothing makes any death go into perspective or seem worthwhile.)

The inquisition??? You're talking ancient history! The deaths this article refers to are hardly ancient, they're within the 20th century. In fact there are many people still alive today who actually witnessed many of the events the article refers to.

I believe communism has killed more people than were alive on the planet during the inquisition. Can you explain why you believe the inquisition took more lives?

You can find an inquisition memorial here: http://www.learnnc.org/lp/multimedia/2802

He talks about the Inquisition b/c she is an uneducated, bigoted boob. A common rant among liberal robots who memorize talking points instead of thinking for themselves. I assume he means Spanish Inquisition ( most lefties do) which is more secular then religious. What were total trials anyway, maybe 20,000 tops? 20,000=100,000,000 ain't new math grand?

Who knows that the Soviet Union murdered 20 million people...Chinese Communist leaders have slaughtered an estimated 50 million people...Fidel Castro has executed thousands of political prisoners[?]
The better question is probably who cares? Leftist apologists are just as aware of these facts as are the critics of communism on the right. Unfortunately, they still suffer from the fellow traveller syndrome and have a vested interest in ignoring these deeds if their utopian reading of Marx is to make a comeback. They wrongly see this brutality as an influence of particular personalities like Mao, Stalin and Lenin. They do not recognize that the ideology itself in...

As with most "isms", communism was never used properly. People used it to gain power and then misused it to stay in power.
Capitalism was originally a system where people profited depending on input.
Infantilism is fine when left to children but in the hands of the two above me, has become corrupted to something less.

They do not recognize that the ideology itself inevitably results in slaughter when taken to its logical conclusion.
