 blueridge says: Suskind's book has provided documentation of evidence and inside witnesses within the CIA and British Intelligence sources that a fake letter was ordered "from the White House" pretending to be from Saddam's Intelligence Chief to Saddam (whom the U.S. relocated and paid $5 million to) which was laden with lies and a claim of ties between Mohammad Atta (supposed 9/11 ringleader), Al Qaeda, and Iraq--back-dated prior to 9/11--which provided deliberately false claims to connect Iraq to 9/11. The White House has denied (see previous clipmark) but award-winning journalist Suskind summarizes his sources and defends his allegations on Democracy Now (see first podcast "listen" link). The second podcast, Aug. 14, includes House Judiciary Chair John Conyers who has already started an investigation under way which will lead to some kind of action. Conyer's stated the the Senate Intelligence Committee, headed by Jay Rockefeller, has the power to review classified documents to verify this. After listening to both podcasts myself tonight I am convinced this will lead to a crisis point where the Congress will be forced to act against the deliberate lies and plain illegal actions of the Bush administration and the CIA in making a fake case for war, which is backed up by CIA inside sources and key British Intelligence officials as direct eye-witnesses of the progress of the scheme. This is absolutely powerful and there will be no way of escape. Bush, Cheney, and the neocon cabal (if Congress continues to pursue per their Constitutional duty) could be on trial for "high crimes" and no misdemeanors. I will consult my friend (who has worked for the NSA for the past 25 years) and see what I can find. He just bought a house about a half hour from me, so it's much easier to visit now. We couldn't always talk about alot of things on regular phone calls. In person is much easier.  That is interesting, but it is the testimony of the people within the CIA, that were in a position as witnesses, which is the basis of legal evidence in court, rather than what someone at the NSA |
