I imported my addresses into one place. With the assistance of Plaxo's free service used with AIM's free account allows import of all addresses into Outlook express 6.0. and your Yahoo and MSN IM's. All address books are most easily updated using either Aim or Google's gmail stuff. Yahoo does add the convenience of allowing "friends" on their 360 networks have your addresses automatically updated with the inter-network mail address. With MSN's moving toward reintroducing "friends" on "spaces.msn.com" it would be nice if the "users of Hotmail" could access their own address books as easily as other netw... Update: On cellular devices they have added an mobile email and IM that groups all three msn yahoo and aol so you can access all three ims from the same initial link . However if you do you also have to individually activate each option by selecting the end user agreement. Now the software is loaded to the phone for free. The 3 im's launch separately just as they do on the computer. Though you share logon id you only share addresses if you integrate them on your computer. You are not getting msn ims on the Yahoo im yet as I see it. Likewise yahoo will not automatically put a user from your other im on your contact list without sending an invite which is to be approved. AOL more r... |
