JICWyllie says: I just happened on (for me) these new Mayan sources in the past couple of days. I am thinking of buying the book. We certainly need an evolution in consciousness, and perhaps we are part of it. Let me know if you read the book JICWylie & what you think. I enjoy stuff like this but I'm trying not to buy any new books till I finish the few I've started & I agree with you on a need for our evolving in consciousness especially in view of the problems facing us today as a world. I also believe places like clipmarks is a step towards that end as I've met people such as yourself that I don't think I would have met otherwise. Anyway it's just a thought. I know what you mean about having too many books on the go. I'll let you know about Calleman's book, certainly. Clipmarks might be even more rewarding and fun if we could form purposeful research groups. I was hoping we might start an experimental group on the 'evolution of consciousness'. Since there is no facility for groups, a work around would be to make up a unique group tag word for stuff we find and want to share. e.g. Evcon. What do you think? What about all the others who have expressed an interest in this topic? I would love to be part of an experimental group doing research Jan. Evolution of consciousness would be a good research topic to start & maybe if there's enough interest the guys here at Clipmarks might come up with some way to accommodate us. If not or in the meantime your suggestion of using an abbreviation(Evcon) could be incorporated somewhere in the heading so it would show up in a search. If used in the heading I would recommend it would be the 1st word. I have posted a relevant comment in Wildcat's The future of Human Evolution. (Do you know how to make a link within Clipmarks?) |
