Difference is it's "cool" to bash men/tell jokes that put men in a negative light where if the sexes were reversed, the women would scream like stuck pigs

I have been waiting to say that this joke is sexist and demeaning to women themselves. The last sentence suggests -- according to how I read it -- that women are generally dumb, so if you see one reading, you better believe she's the only one thinking. What about the others who don't read?

Here's an intelligent idea coming from a woman; why don't you all take it for what it is (Which is a joke in case anyone missed it) and laugh. (I'll even take a small giggle if that's all you got.)

I think it's perfectly OK to discuss any deeper meanings one might perceive exists in a joke like this. Some may be sensitive due to past sexist experiences so we must give them a voice. On the other hand, I believe that most people know plenty of highly intelligent women and would only take this for what it is: a joke. One more thing: I don't believe that anybody should be off-limits when it comes to humor as long as it's spread around equally. Think Richard Pryor...the best of the best.
