AtlLiberal says: I've often heard my Christian friends make a distinction between worshiping God and Allah. This always struck me as quaint since both religions (Christianity and Islam) share a common Abrahamic tradition. What they mean to infer is the different ways in which the two religions view the biblical Jesus. christians and most westerns don't know there history these days they never really get farther than ww2 and never go into indepth discussions of specific moments in history. because of this most christians believe that islam is a completly different religion having nothing to do with their believes I once met a person who was screaming at me when I tried to explain the islamic history to him yelling THOSE HETHANS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MY GOD THEY WORSHIP ALLHA, ALLHA NOT "JESUS" |
