allenmarkowski says: Keep it simple...Live, learn, love. "Wherever you go. There you are." Bruce Spence Mad Max II Sounds simple, it's the lessons learned part that brings the challenge. Great clip! You said it, that's it in a nutshell. Love it! I've always thought...If you can't learn from your mistakes, there is no point in making them. Good post, allows humbleness to peek out. I remember clipping this along time ago- Nice choice! i'll pop this one every time it's posted-- it's a great read every couple of months. You know what they say, "What goes around, comes around." & "Cream rises to the top." What would be cool is for the boys here at clipmarks is to come up with say the top 20 clips for the year around Dec 31/Jan 1 based on overall pops. Maybe extra stats like how many times it was recycled, who clipped it 1st for the year, when was the next recycle, etc. Some other things that would also be interesting would be the top tag words & topics, the most debated/most commented on, highest traffic day of the year,..........you know what I mean. Thanks for highlighting this 'simple and open approach' to life. Those who takes life so seriously - could learn from this by not getting too stressed from the mistakes they made; but rather learn from their lessons! There was nothing forthem here Though in ntheir leaving nought was lost For many have remained to see To watch forever onward through Eternity Life Sometimes people just forget the values they knew as children. Nice and simple. BUT to say, that "You have all the tools and resources you need." is a very self-satisfied thing to do. I can certainly say, that I have all the tools and resources handed to me by parents, schooling etc., but let's face it: most people are not this lucky. Some may have extraordinary drive or talent or luck. Most don't. talent & luck r no match 4 persistence, yet u must learn 2 change in a constructive ,happy ways. + add "DESIDERATA" & MURPHY"S LAW === quick , simple, a 3 page bible ,,with out the bull shit ......... "If you lived here, you'd be home by now" - Firesign Theater. The Desiderata was a fake. I prefer the Deteriorata. I misspoke. The Desiderata that was so popular in the '70s was supposedly found in St. Paul's church, dated 1692. It was actually written in the 1920s, and was still under copyright when all thos posters and recordings were made (illegally, needless to say).
