I was having a really hard time at first. I had a lot of regrets, things I had wanted to say .. I kept thinking about the hour that went by between being shot and leaving us. It was hard to stop dwelling on those things. I was already missing him and it was very hard to hear what had happened. I have of course been thinking very much about him; but in the last couple days it's been about how fun he was, how much he made me laugh. We were there for each other and helped each other through some tough stuff. He really was a good guy. My heart is breaking for his family.
