dopesick says: Now come on, it is a nice story and everything but as said, if they had access to facebook, why not just dial 000 for the Fire Service? Endangering their lives just for a story to tell their friends? To be honest, I don't even think they did this "just for a story to tell their friends"....i genuinely think that facebook was the first thing that crossed their minds as a channel to inform as many people as possible of their situation, hoping that one would come to their rescue. The 10-year-old mindset has shifted in that direction. Hopefully this will be a wake-up call for parents to tell their kids about the existence of 000 (which our generation takes for granted, but has seemingly been forgotten by the next generation). Maybe they should even save it in their phones as a contact called "emergency" or something. |
