The question to ask is, "When is enough, enough?" I wonder if Israel ever considers the irony in how they treat the Palestinians compared to how the Nazis treated the Jews? Sure, there are no gas chambers, no concentration camps, no forced labor, but Israel certainly puts Palestine beneath them. Somebody is not giving peace a chance. Sounds like they are creating a bigger target for rockets and retaliatiion. For the last eight years Israel's made it a point of doing something like this everytime the U.S. Secretary of State would go over to the Middle East. I see it as rather disgusting, rude and offensive behavior. There is no need to announce this policy, no need to announce it while Sec. of State Hilary Clinton, presidents from Europe, prime ministers and kings from the Middle East all gathered together in one of the biggest meetings to seek peace and help rebuild Gaza (The International Donor's Conference). But while this announcement is the direct opposite of diplomacy, Israel makes it's point quite clearly: It will continue to expand it's settlements. It will continue with the blockade... |
