I live on Lake Superior and I can tell you for a fact that it is significantly lower this year. The part about the lake being warmer.....I haven't noticed that. The water has been so damn cold this whole summer that I haven't been able to swim in it, though the temperature of the water is directly related to the winds and they have been blowing the wrong way.

Things are definitely going wild weather-wise in this world. At midnight last night (bearing in mind it's mid-winter in the southern hemisphere) I had a ceiling fan on because it was that hot. Unbelievable!
