That's awful! I understand his frustration but I think he could have found a better solution than to burn the books.

I just went to a library book sale last Saturday and bought dozens of wonderful books that the library had either culled to make room for new books or had received as a donation for the sale. They were as happy to see me gathering up so many of the books as I was to get the books! They have a deal with a church in a neighboring town that accepts all unsold books to put in their ongoing book sale, so I didn't feel as bad about all the books that were obviously not going to be sold that day as I usually do when I attend book sales.

I find it very sad to see printed books valu...

I agree. Nothing pleases me more than to go to the library and buy book. This is a very sad story
