Ha, I never lend money to friends or family, I just give it to them; that way I can never get mad when they don't pay me back. Their love is payment alone

I sort of do (rather did) something similar. I never "loaned" anything that I couldn't afford to lose. If i got it back - great, if not - I didn't need it anyway.

Of course now that I'm in the poverty boat its all moot.
