At the same time he was doing the cartoons clipped here, he worked (on an uncredited basis) with the Warner Brothers cartoon studios at Termite Terrace on the "Private Snafu" series of wartime shorts, a set of seven-minute cartoons intended to educate the troops and buck up morale - they were never shown in civilian theaters, but you can find them if you search "Private Snafu" on YouTube.

I was in the video game industry in the '80s, and at one point was working on a product licensed from Mr. Geisel. The man was a complete pain in the ass to work with. We sent him prototype art and designs, only to have them come back with comments like, "It needs more ridiculosity!", leaving us to guess ...
