Why did it take so long? After all, up until now there have been already four individual genomes sequenced, and all of them male. Our guess is that given the shorter life span and more chronic diseases that men have, sequencing of male genomes was considered a more important endeavor than sorting through the DNA of their longer living and healthier female pals. Just kidding!</blockquote></div><div style="margin: 0px 6px 6px 4px;"><table style="font-size: 11px;border-spacing: 0px;padding: 0px;" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tr><td style="background:transparent;border-width:0px;padding:0px;"> </td><td align="right" style="background:transparent;border-width:0px;padding:0px;width:107px" width="107"><a href="http://clipmarks.com/share/1E2FF958-8637-454F-911D-AF0EEAC81789/blog/" title="blog or email this clip"><img src="http://content8.clipmarks.com/images/c2b-foot.png" border="0" alt="blog it" width="107" height="17" style="border-width:0px;padding:0px;margin:0px;" /></a></td></tr></table></div></div>
