If you read the whole article this guy admits her may be wrong-- "But in fact there's a little bit of a mystery. We can't account for all of the sea level increase we've seen over the last three or four years," he says. One possibility is that the sea has, in fact, warmed and expanded — and scientists are somehow misinterpreting the data from the diving buoys. --- So, too-soon, again YOU are the one jumping to conclusions--there IS global warming, quit denying it, take the blinders off, man. I'm not denying anything. You are. I believe we have had global warming, we are currently in a short cooling trend which may or may not continue. I believe that warming and cooling are the NORMAL state of the climate and those who think global climate change is abnormal are in denial. The Earth warms, the Earth cools, the Earth does NOT remain the same temperature all the time. And from all actual temperature records, the temperatures have been declining since 1998 and there is zero evidence of ocean temperatures warming, only speculation (which is a far cry from science). Quit living in denial and accept the fact that the climate has always and will always change. Sure everything changes except human ignorance and greed. Oh, I forgot--you're one of the guys who can't face the fact that humans have screwed up and are major contributors to the global warming escalation rapidly going towards a tipping point. It's the ol' status quo for you, we don't need to change, just let it happen. Is that right? How about some proof of that? There is no real evidence of man made global warming. Matter of fact, we haven't had any global warming in a decade even though CO2 has continued to rise. That right there should make anyone with any sense question those who present global warming as a fact. The Earth has warmed many times in the past without man's influence, why should be believe that right now it isn't capable of doing the same? For all we know, things we are doing are actually slowing global warming and when the global warming trend changes (if it hasn't already) we may cause the next ice age (which is much scarier than global warming). I think that instead of ruining economies and spending ... Well, we agree on some things then--which Things we clean up or focus on matters--polluted air, water, oceans, cutting the forests--all need to change and won't happen unless the greedy profiteers are either educated or stopped.To allow people to ravage the Amazon, Indonesia or Canadian forests and release the carbon and methane is just dooming our future. As for a hoax--why would the IACC scientists be doing that? Are they all on the take? Nooo...How can you say we don't contribute to warming when the science show it, I SAW it in Alaska and in the evidence of the ICE melting...But I'm done arguin with you---take your last shot, blind man. |
