Mohir says: But Deacon argues that all languages arise from the common goal of describing the physical world. That limits the way a language could be constructed, he concludes. An alien race could use a strange medium like scents as their language, Deacon says, but the scents would still describe objects in their world. An odour that communicates "rock" or "tree" would be analogous to our words for the same objects. So there must be an underlying universal code that can be deciphered, as in mathematics. shoot not to long ago on youtube they was a vid about how certain aliens like the greys sounded like they had a Chinese dialect. now about the theory on languages having a structure some languages might even stem off from each other but since humans have moved and adapted its hard to link them together plus you have to take into effect all the stagnant dialects and record them which is being done right now before these languages die off. but this could be done but there have been recorded encounters with aliens where they used mind waves to control and manipulate humans into doing things! |
