He always is, of course, but the right-wing mindset is so blind to it that I like to take every opportunity that comes along, where anyone remotely credible points it out - to say so.
Maybe if lies seem like truth after they're said enough, truth could seem like truth by the same method!

Right. I recently had the strangest e-conversation with some right-wing colleagues of mine, in which I pointed out FactCheck in order to show that the things they believed about Obama really weren't so.

Their conclusion? FactCheck is obviously wrong, and maybe I should go FactCheck my Bible, since I have "compromised Biblical standards" (about which they feel very sorry for me, and perhaps it has to do with something in my past that caused this "lunacy.")

Frustrating, isn't it! I'm getting horrible Obama smears and racist propaganda from Conservative relatives in southern Mississippi. They would rather believe Rush Limbaugh's hateful messages than think for themselves. Maybe they can't think for themselves anymore, I don't know. But today I sent them this article in return.

I'm never someone to wish someone ill, but Rush Limbaugh really pushes toward abandoning that ideal. Not that I wish him gone, but I will say that the world will be a much better place when he's gone.
