Just the other day I was driving on the expressway and was thinking how would it feel like if there were no billboards along the way? For some reasons, billboards on the expressway - especially the ones which invites gentleman to some sort of special club (you know what I mean) - are potentially dangerous then anything else.

But I agree, billboard are annoying.

The city I live in has had a no-billboard ordinance for at least the twenty years that I've been here. It's a pleasant change to drive out of the neighboring cities and into ours... to find a clean, relatively uncluttered atmosphere.

Even the businesses must have signs that stay within a specific dimension. These are never "in the air" but mounted near the ground and rarely above the height of a standing person.
