Regardless of where funding comes from you still haven't provided any proof that the United Nations Food Aid programme does not care or does not provide hunger relief. All you have provided is that you despise the organization.

Additionally if there are 800 million hungry people then the world is not being fed.

Statistics can be spun many ways. You can make your argument in absolute dollars others can make their arguments in per capita dollars.

What is a truth is that the money spent in Iraq on a war built on a pack of lies would more than feed the world's hungry.

Another truth is that the U.S. is building up a considerable debt that will hamper what the U.S. wants to do in the future, ...

I also firmly believe if the Bush Administration hadn't burned up all their political capital and goodwill extended to the U.S. after 9/11 by launching a BS war that must everybody knew was built on lies you wouldn't have countries like Zimbabwe elected to positions of decision making in the U.N.

Bush squandered a tremendous amount of political power and goodwill and it ends up in countries taking positions contrary to what the U.S. would like to do in the UN.

Now I must make another point. I used the UN statistic for feeding a person simply as a reference point of what is possible for a pittance of money but yet the Bush administration decided to squander a fortune that could have done tremendous good in this world.

The United Nations and all its agencies and funds spend about $20 billion each year, or about $3 for each of the world's inhabitants. This is a very small sum compared to most government budgets and it is just a tiny fraction of the world's military spending.

And what's the estimate for the cost of the Iraq invasion and occupation by Nobel Prize economist Joseph Stigler? ......hmmm?....... Try $3 Trillion dollars.
