Nursing is a good profession. RN's also make big bucks, but put in long shifts, work holidays and have lots of OT. I worked for a hospital for 16 years ~ in hospice and the ER.

Hmm, well that sounds like my last job except for the big bucks.
Trust me, my last job had some pretty darn ignorant aspects to it, i don't really think this could be much worse.
But wow, hospice hey? I had a friend (she moved away) that used to work in hospice. I would think that that would have to be a tough job. Are you still a nurse? it sounds like not?

I was never a nurse lolli, I am a Social Worker. Hospice was tough at first, but it was one of the best things that ever happened to me. It taught me spirituality, and made me privy to the awesomeness of death. Most of all it taught me how to help my beloved Dad die.
I believe that things happen for a reason.
I am no longer working. I am permanently disabled due to a variety of illnesses ~~ just to name a couple ~~ COPD and ulcerative colitis.
